Roboteam announced that the U.S. Marine Corps placed an initial order for more than 130 Micro Tactical Ground Robot (MTGR) systems as part of a larger agreement totaling around 200 units and approximately $30 million in value, including spare parts and maintenance services.

Roboteam was contracted by the Israel Police in September 2024 for a robotic platform supply and maintenance contract valued at about NIS 1,500,000, with performance running until 2027.

Roboteam disclosed that the U.S. Department of Defense, via the U.S. Marine Corps, ordered over 200 MTGR micro ground robots in a deal reported at about $30 million, with an initial batch of 130 units plus spare components and maintenance support.

The U.S. Department of Defense fast-tracked deployment of Roboteam’s MTGR micro-robots with U.S. Army Special Forces, reflecting an early operational fielding of the system by a major defense customer.

Roboteam unveiled its MTGR soldier robot system, a lightweight combat-proven tactical robot designed for patrol missions, intelligence gathering, bomb handling and urban combat support, and noted that deployment among Israel Defense Forces, the U.S. Army, police units and other armies would expand significantly.

Heven Drones and Roboteam announced a partnership to develop a turnkey robotic solution integrating the Heven H100 Robo aerial platform with Roboteam’s MTGR ground robot, creating a combined land-and-air ‘flying robot’ that was unveiled at the ISDEF defense exhibition in Tel Aviv.

Ondas Holdings announced an agreement to acquire Roboteam in order to integrate Roboteam’s tactical ground robotics, already deployed by the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and the Israeli Ministry of Defense, into Ondas’s multi-domain autonomy architecture for coordinated air-and-ground operations.

Roboteam reported securing a $25 million contract with the Pentagon for its unmanned micro tactical ground robot, highlighting early large-scale U.S. defense customer validation of the MTGR platform.
