The Finnish Defence Forces selected Rafael Advanced Defense Systems to supply SPIKE SR, LR2 and ER2 missile systems under a contract valued at about 223.6 million euros ($236 million), including missiles, munitions, training equipment, training support and spare parts.

The Long Range Surface to Air Missile (LRSAM), also known as Barak 8 and co-developed by India and Israel with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems as manufacturer, was successfully flight-tested for the first time from an Israeli naval platform, achieving its objective by hitting the incoming target.
Morocco began operational deployment of Israel Aerospace Industries’ Barak MX medium-range air defense system under a deal reportedly signed in 2022 and worth about $500 million, with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems identified as a key contributor to the Barak family’s development.
Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems were contracted by the Indian Ministry of Defence to supply additional Barak 1 short-range surface-to-air missiles and complementary Barak 8 MRSAM systems for the Indian Navy as part of an evolving Barak air defense portfolio.
In a published report for financial year 2023, Rafael stated that it expects to bring onboard approximately 2,000 new employees during the year, indicating substantial planned workforce expansion.
